Horse and camel rides cross the plains. Visits to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy headquarters include tracker-dog training sessions and meetings with anti-poaching rangers. Day trips reach the Ngare Ndare Forest canopy walkway, suspended 40 feet above the ground and stretching 450 metres through the trees, and the Ngare Ndare waterfalls. The Il N'gwesi community to the north offers cultural visits.
