ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS
Children here are given real jobs on the farm rather than entertainments. Two donkeys, Meisiekind and Lulu, live opposite the Farm Shop, and young guests help feed them before moving on to collecting eggs, harvesting fruit and vegetables for the breakfast table, and kneading and baking farm breads. A scavenger hunt rounds out the offer for those who prefer a trail to a chore. The appeal for families is that the activities belong to the working farm rather than being staged for visitors, so children see where breakfast comes from. Everything is arranged through Reception, so it is worth mentioning at booking that children are travelling.
