Cape Town's coastline runs from the four Clifton beaches to Camps Bay, where palm-lined streets face a stretch of sand known for its sunsets, bars and restaurants opposite the shore. Further south, Muizenberg's Sunrise Beach is the city's surf-lesson beach, with local instructors working the gentler breaks. Cape Point and Boulders Beach make for a full day trip round the peninsula, the latter known for its resident penguin colony. Smaller, lesser-known beaches exist beyond these, and the hotel team can direct guests toward whichever stretch of coast suits the day's plan.
