Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Plekify's software and hosted services (the "Service"). By activating or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service. Plekify provides a booking and commerce platform built on Shopify, a property-management dashboard, and related integrations. We host and maintain the Service and make commercially reasonable efforts to keep it available.

2. Your account & authority. You provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and confirm you have the authority to bind your business. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Your content & data. You retain ownership of your property, guest and booking data. You grant Plekify a limited licence to host, process and display that data solely to operate the Service for you. You may export your data; we do not sell your data.

4. Acceptable use. You will use the Service lawfully, not misuse or attempt to reverse-engineer it, and not use it to infringe third-party rights.

5. Fees, term & cancellation. Fees and term are set out in your order form or invoice. Either party may cancel for material breach not cured within 30 days' notice. You may terminate for convenience on the notice in your agreement. Upon termination, we make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it except where retention is required by law.

6. Warranties & disclaimer. The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Plekify disclaims implied warranties. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Plekify's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and excludes indirect or consequential damages.

8. Sub-processors. We use reputable sub-processors (including Shopify for commerce infrastructure and cloud hosting) under written agreements that meet or exceed these terms. A current list is available on request.

9. Changes. We may update these terms with notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
