From here you can arrange a scenic flight over the Sounds, a day's kayaking on the Pelorus River, or a run south to Kaikoura for seal colonies and whale watching. Closer to town, Stadium 2000's pool and gym sit just opposite, available to guests on request. There is no lift, so upper rooms are reached by stairs only. Breakfast is made to order and can be taken in the room or the lobby, and an alleyway courtyard offers a spot to sit outdoors. The hotel is not licensed, but guests are welcome to bring back a bottle from a vineyard visit.
