Guests can walk the vineyard rows, follow the Novelleto stream along a stretch of the Via Francigena, or cycle out toward the castle walls. It is quiet, working land rather than a manicured garden. Olive trees border the paths, and the estate's own produce turns up at breakfast when it is booked directly.
