For overnight stays, a small lodge holds three king rooms named for nearby high country stations — Molesworth, St James and Rainbow — each with a private patio. The separate Wallace Peak Cottage sits within the olive grove, self-contained, with its own kitchen and a king bed. Guests staying two nights or more get a cheese board on arrival. Hanmer Springs village, with its thermal pools and restaurants, is an eight-minute drive away; Christchurch is around 90 minutes by road. An onsite event manager runs the logistics on the day.
