Didier and Marie-Do run it themselves, after thirty years in retail on the French mainland. Four fare sit inside a fenced garden: Fare Poe and Fare Honu sleep up to four, each with a kitchen, a lounge with two single beds, and a bedroom with a king bed. Fare Miti and Fare Motu are smaller, built for two adults, with a kitchenette, air conditioning, and a queen bed. All four have a private terrace and bathroom. A pool anchors the garden, ringed by sun loungers, and a shared terrace and lounge give guests a common space to gather. It is a compact stay. Breakfast is made on site each morning; other meals can be ordered a day ahead and served on the terrace, built from local fruit, vegetables, and home-baked bread. The garden is planted with shade trees, and the whole property is enclosed for privacy. You can hear little beyond birdsong and the pool from the terrace at midday. Snorkelling reefs and the Tiki Village lie within reach of Haapiti, and hiking trails climb into the island's interior.
