Rooms come as single, double or triple, each with an en-suite shower, hot water and a private terrace facing the water. You can hear the waves from bed. Power runs entirely on solar, and Starlink covers the property, so there is no generator hum to work around. Kayaks and paddleboards sit ready on the sand, free to guests, and a snorkelling reef lies just off the beach, home to turtles and reef fish. A guide leads walks into the forest behind the lodge, one to three hours, ending at the village of Doany or looping back. Boat excursions run to Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely and Nosy Iranja, all reachable within a short crossing. The restaurant, set in the largest bungalow, faces the sea and serves seafood and local produce, plated simply.
