The lodge sits on the southern end of Ambergris Caye, four miles south of San Pedro Town, facing the Caribbean and the Belize Barrier Reef. Guides work the shallows and channels for bonefish, permit, and tarpon, with snook, snapper, and barracuda as secondary targets. Schools of permit numbering in the dozens move across the back-country flats between March and May. It is demanding water. A caught bonefish, permit, and tarpon in a single outing counts as a grand slam, and the lodge sees one most weeks.

Six private staterooms make up the accommodation, each with an ensuite bathroom, a tile shower, and its own air-conditioning control. Mahogany furniture, built locally, sits alongside carvings and artwork sourced on the island. The shared living and dining room opens through French doors onto an upstairs deck, where a grill and a breakfast bar face 270 degrees of open ocean and reef. Meals are taken as a group and prepared on-site by a resident family. Golf carts, kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles are kept for guests who want to reach San Pedro or explore the caye on days off the water. Chris and Mary Leeman run the lodge full time, having taken it over in 2019.
