The lodge holds nine suites. The restaurant, bar and lounge run floor-to-ceiling glass so that the mountains and ocean are present from every seat. Outside, Gowers Terrace has a pool and open seating. The Kentia Lounge is a quieter room for reading. Above the main building, the Capella Spa occupies an open loft space and uses stones collected from the island's windward beaches in its treatments.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe kitchen sources produce from the island and from New South Wales; menus change daily. Executive Chef Dennis Tierney first worked here as an apprentice in 2007 and returned as head chef in 2022. Snorkels and fins are available for guests to use on the reef. From the lodge, you can walk to Little Island around the base of Mount Gower, or rock-hop along the reef at low tide.
