Carisford Lodge

Carisford Lodge is nestled in dense sub-tropical vegetation, a mere 400 m or 4 minute's walk from the beach, in Clansthal. Clansthal is a small nature conservancy town that lies on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, and is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday. The world-renowned Aliwal Shoal, which is some 4 km out to sea, is a mecca for scuba divers. Carisford Lodge is only a few kilometres from Scottburgh, the Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve, 4 golf courses, and Croc World.

Accommodation is offered in self-catering chalets, and guests have a choice of Studio Apartments, 2-Bedroom Chalets, 3-Bedroom Chalets, a Honeymoon Suite or the Luxury Holiday Home. Each chalet is air-conditioned, fully furnished and equipped for self-catering, and has its own private braai area.

The lodge offers a lapa with a big-screen TV for watching sport, as well as a dart board. Guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool.
