Welcome to The Cartwright House Bed and Breakfast, Oriental’s Inn of Distinction, where simple elegance and gracious hospitality meet. This Inn has a rich history dating back almost to when Oriental was founded. It was built in 1903, and converted to a Bed and Breakfast over three decades ago. We are located in a peaceful residential neighborhood and just steps from the waterfront and Lou Mac Park. Oriental can comfortably be explored on foot or by bicycle. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

All rooms have private baths stocked with fine Italian bath amenities from Poggesi. The eco-friendly Cartwright House caters to adults only who are looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle of big city life. The facility is 100% smoke free and encourages conversation, board games, quiet reads and pursuits to heal the spirit and mend the soul. Hosts will gladly transport marina guests as needed.
