A day's package runs to a rowboat and a quota of ten trout, fifteen in possession, gear and permit extra. Guides run beaver-watching trips by quad through beech and spruce, and kayaks and pedal boats sit ready on a small sand beach for those who'd rather drift than fish. Winter turns the same shoreline into a snowmobile relay, linked to the Trans-Québec 3 trail, with a hot supper and continental breakfast for riders passing through toward Charlevoix or the Monts-Valin. Snowshoe trails, cut with regional forestry funding, wind past the chalets. Ice fishing runs from mid-January to mid-March, ice permitting.
