The tents are deliberately compact — smaller than the standard Machaba Safaris build — with decks, en-suite bathrooms with running water, shower, bath, flush toilet, fans, and a lounge area. A pool is available on the property. The main dining and sitting area is also tented, raised on decks with a direct view over the springs, and guests eat communally or separately as they choose.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGame drives run morning and evening. Walking safaris go out in the mornings with armed guides, moving slowly enough to read tracks, plants, and smaller animals that a vehicle passes without stopping. Hwange records more than four hundred and twenty bird species across the park; from November to April, migratory species from Europe and northern Africa add to the resident count.
