East Gate Rest Camp

East Gate Rest Camp is an oasis on the Trans Kalahari highway which is the strategic coast-to-coast route linking Maputo, Mozambique on the Indian Ocean to Walvisbay on the Atlantic coastline of Namibia. Buitepos is the main access point to the centre of Namibia and all tourism attractions this vast, sparsely populated country has to offer.

Accommodation at the East Gate Rest Camp is provided in luxury bungalows, 3-bed bungalows, 2-bed bungalows, cabins, caravan and camping facilities. Featured at this establishment is a convenience store, coffee shop/restaurant, BBQ facilities and a swimming pool. Furthermore, the rest camp does currency exchanges and can assist travellers with maps and brochure for their journeys.
