The copper-mines trail visits Roman aqueducts, smelting sites, and shafts worked continuously from the Neolithic through to Byzantine times. Guests can spend a full day with a local shepherd, grazing goats in the hills and baking arbood bread over a fire at midday. Mountain-bike routes run to the Greigra Oasis and the Feynan Museum in the new village. Bedouin families host two-hour sessions in their homes, teaching visitors to roast Arabic coffee, weave goat-hair tent fabric, or make kohl eyeliner from cotton ash. A rooftop terrace holds mattresses for stargazing after dark, with a ten-inch telescope available.
