Haast Beach Motel

Haast Beach is located about 4km from the junction of SH 6 and Jackson Bay Road. The motel is next door to a grocery store (stocked with a great range of groceries and wines/beers) and one of the two local petrol stations.

Less than a 1 minute walk to the stunning Haast Beach – grab some camp chairs from reception and enjoy an amazing sunset…on many days guests will have the beach to themselves!

Haast Beach Motel is situated in a rural area with sheep and miniature ponies on the property and offers a lovely, peaceful and relaxing setting, suitable for families.

Please note the nearest restaurant is at Haast Junction, 3km away.

Please also take note that there is almost no cell phone cover from either direction on the highway to Haast (either for Wanaka or the Glaciers). If guests plan to be later than 9pm please phone prior to travelling to Haast so management can make arrangements for guests to have access to their room. 24 hour Check In is NOT available

There is cell phone reception at the Haast Junction and Haast Township and a few isolated spots on the highway.
