The wall was raised to shelter a tropical garden that runs down to the shore, so the resort reads as a walled residence rather than a row of hotel blocks. All rooms sit on low floors and open directly onto the ocean. Each has a doma dining area at the entrance, meant for meals and conversation with sea air moving through. Fuushi rooms measure around 93 m² and add a sunken lounge with floor seating. Haru rooms, at up to 94 m², are built around a terrace living space meant to feel like sitting at the water's edge. Guests can also ride at a former royal training ground nearby, or take a traditional sabani rowing boat out with a local fisherman. A dojo runs martial arts sessions on site.
