Meals draw on an organic garden on the property and small local growers, served in a restaurant open to non-guests as well. Guides run private excursions rather than fixed group tours: hiking in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, kayaking on the lake or nearby fjords, and a rafting run down the Petrohué River through nine rapids. You can also cycle from the hotel itself to the rafting put-in near Ensenada, with volcanoes Osorno, Calbuco and Puntiagudo along the route. The hotel lies about 45 minutes from Puerto Montt airport.
