Staff arrange half-day tours of Jaisalmer Fort, its palaces, and its havelis, led by guides familiar with the narrow lanes and their history. Car and driver services extend further, to Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, and other points across Rajasthan.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJaisalmer connects by direct daily train from Delhi, Jaipur, and Jodhpur, and by daily flights from Delhi and Jaipur. By road it is 270 km from Jodhpur and 350 km from Bikaner.
