Lalibela Tree Tops Lodge

Tree Tops Safari Lodge is an authentic tented safari retreat, thoughtfully located and constructed within natural indigenous forest vegetation to preserve the pristine environment. Elevated wooden walkways and expansive decks connect the entire camp, blending harmoniously into the forest canopy and offering a unique, immersive bush experience.

The lodge features five well-appointed canvas canopy suites, each perched on thatched platforms at treetop level. The room structure includes a traditional thatched roof, insulated double-canvas walls, and polished teak floors, providing both luxury and a natural ambiance. Large panoramic windows and private viewing decks give guests the sense of being cocooned in the trees, surrounded by birdlife and the sounds of the wild.

Each suite is designed for comfort and convenience, with en-suite bathrooms featuring a shower and single basin, as well as an in-room coffee station, personal safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, ensuring a tranquil and exclusive experience.

The main lodge area includes indoor and outdoor dining areas, a comfortable lounge, a well-stocked bar, and a fire pit for evening relaxation under the stars. The swimming pool and shaded gazebo provide ideal spaces to unwind between game drives.

Tree Tops is a favourite among birding enthusiasts, offering opportunities to spot species such as the vibrant Knysna Turaco from your deck or along the forest trails.
