Malewane Lodge sits on the western boundary of the Greater Kruger National Park in Limpopo, taking no more than twenty guests at a time across ten suites in two categories. A waterhole in front of the lodge draws animals through the day, and the Big Five move through the concession.

The eight Luxury Suites each have a private heated plunge pool, an outdoor sala, and a bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. The two Royal Suites are larger two-bedroom units, each with its own living room, dining area, and an outside deck with a pool — and each comes with a dedicated chef, host, guide, tracker, and safari vehicle. Children of all ages are welcome in the Royal Suites.

Guides lead twice-daily game drives and bush walks across the Greater Kruger territory. The property records over three hundred bird species, and guides tailor birding drives around a guest's own list. Photographic safaris and night-sky sessions are also on offer. A Conservation and Research Centre runs rhino-tracking and other hands-on conservation activities, some of which require advance booking.

The Masiya Bar is named after Wilson Masiya, a master tracker at the property from its opening in 1999. Bush dinners are served at lantern-lit outdoor tables. The Royal Waters Spa has treatment rooms, a yoga studio, a meditation space, and a gym.

Helicopter flights to Leopard Creek golf course, designed by Gary Player, can be arranged as an additional excursion.
