The kitchens work on a zero-kilometre principle, sourcing produce from farmers around La Fortuna for three restaurants that range from a Northern Italian dining room to a seven-course tasting menu drawing on French and Japanese technique. Coffee is roasted on site at Mi Cafecito, where guests can blend and taste beans grown elsewhere in the country. Two elevated bridges were built specifically to keep the forest canopy intact beneath them, part of a broader reforestation effort that has helped repopulate the grounds with sloths and birds. Villas run to 139 m², each with its own host attending alongside the general staff.
