Nyumbani Estate is an eco-friendly, off grid, luxury Big 5 Safari Lodge, set in an exclusive private game reserve. The location is set with the Klein Drakensberg mountain range as its backdrop and has some stunning landscape features. Birding is simply awesome, especially from the water dam areas. The fauna and flora education is a key factor of the Nyumbani experience whether at the camp, or within the land, the experiential plan provides exceptional service and a participatory approach. This village is being developed through renovation and volunteerism to provide a good standard of accommodation for the team through a range of international shared skills initiatives, re-investment from the commercial aspect of the Estate and community engagement. It is aimed at developing a bursary programme for a range of disadvantaged people (children & adults).
