The Ellensbrook sits on the lower ground floor, its picture window facing a bird bath where local birds gather each morning. Check-in is self-service from 3pm, keys waiting in a lock box by the guest entrance in the back garden. All linen is laundered offsite. Rooms come with reverse-cycle air conditioning, a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a safe. It is a compact stay. The main street restaurants and shops lie a ten-minute walk away, wineries and beaches a short drive beyond that. Rosewood does not take guests under twelve.
