Arrival is by unpaved road, seven kilometres from the village centre, through a property fenced off from passing traffic and dust. The grounds cover four hectares, most of it planted with date palms, olives, pomegranate and fig, with only a fifth given over to guest buildings. Rooms and suites are built in pisé, clay and straw pressed into thick walls with narrow windows, a construction that keeps interiors cool through summer without relying on air conditioning. It is a quiet build. Twenty-two rooms are split across three categories: standard rooms, luxury suites and panoramic suites, each with its own bathroom and shower. A saltwater pool, heated by six hundred metres of buried solar piping, stays swimmable from March into late November. Meals come from an on-site garden and small farm, with vegetables and fruit picked the same day and menus built around what the season allows. From the lodge, guides run day trips into the Amandiers valley, the Dadès gorges and the Rose valley, and two-day desert excursions toward M'Hamid by 4x4, ending with a camel ride out to the dunes for sunset or sunrise. At night, away from artificial light, the terrace doubles as a place to watch the stars.
