When the resident hyena clan is denning, cubs can sometimes be watched near their den from a respectful distance. Children travelling with family groups can join a bush cooking lesson or a photography session suited to their age, while adults take the standard rotation of drives, boating and walks. The lagoon setting shapes the wildlife on offer: waterbirds and antelope drawn to the shallows, predators moving through the fringing woodland beyond. Access is by light aircraft from Maun, followed by a road or boat transfer depending on water levels.
