The centrepiece is a live theatrical performance: an actor portrays the bridge's lead engineer at the time of construction, walking through the decisions and difficulties of the project in character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom there, guides take the group onto the original catwalks — the narrow walkways that construction crews used during assembly — running beneath the main span. Everyone wears a harness; a safety briefing comes before you go under.
