Gorilla Trekking

Trekking distance depends on which gorilla family guests are allocated, so a trek can last anywhere from a couple of hours to a full day through Volcanoes National Park's forest terrain. Singita Kwitonda Lodge builds meals and other activities around the trek's timing. Gear such as waterproof jackets, hiking trousers, gators, gloves and walking poles is available for guests to borrow, along with packed lunches in eco-friendly boxes. Average temperatures sit around fifteen degrees Celsius, with high humidity. The activity runs year-round, though children under fifteen cannot take part and are looked after at the lodge instead.
