Snowshill Manor and Garden

Snowshill Manor and Garden is the eccentric creation of Charles Paget Wade, who filled this 16th‑century Cotswold manor with over 20,000 handcrafted treasures, from samurai armour and musical instruments to bicycles and toys, each displayed theatrically amid colourfully restored rooms. The Arts and Crafts garden, designed in collaboration with Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott, unfolds as a series of outdoor rooms featuring orchards, terraces and hidden vistas, with stunning views across the Vale of Evesham. Visitors descend into the Priest’s House, Wade’s former residence, in the serene garden setting, and explore unique features like the miniature Wolf’s Cove harbour model. Supporting facilities include a café, shop, second‑hand bookshop and accessible transport between the car park and the manor. Snowshill Manor and Garden offers a theatrical and intimate journey through one man’s passion for craftsmanship and collections, set within a captivating landscape of heritage and horticultural artistry.
