The lodge holds 17 river rooms, five river suites, and two dual-room premium suites, alongside the King Suite and Mary Suite, each named for people tied to the family and the Norwegian monarchy. The King Suite spans 62 m² across two rooms with private balconies, where the northern lights or the midnight sun show from the bed. A shared lounge, restaurant, and bar sit behind glass façades looking over the river.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeside the lodge stands the Igloo Hotel, rebuilt each winter by ice sculptors from blocks of ice and snow. Its suites change theme every season; beds are cut from ice, topped with insulated mattresses and reindeer hides. The season runs from December to April.
