Thambili House by Edwards Collection is a haven of comfort, privacy and refinement in the port city of Galle, Sri Lanka. Set right next to the Fort Rampart, a few yards from the Masjid Meera Jumma Mosque and the famous Galle Lighthouse, Thambili House is one of a few properties in the area which overlooks the southern Indian Ocean and also boasts a swimming pool. The 300-year-old former spice merchant’s house can accommodate up to eight guests and is rented to one party at a time on a villa-only basis. Two double bedrooms and a family bedroom are all located on the upper floor, with the master bedroom opening to a terrace with sea views, and the family room opening to a terrace with pool and lighthouse views. All rooms have air conditioning and en suite bathrooms with showers. The property also has a dedicated butler to look after guests' comfort.
