The result keeps its original character: a single freestanding cabin, not a cluster of rooms, set alone on a private fell above Kittilä with no other buildings in view. It sleeps up to six across one downstairs bedroom with a king-size bed and an upstairs loft with a second king and two singles. The cabin runs to around 120 square metres and holds its kitchen, dining and living space under one roof, warmed by an open fireplace. A sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi sit off the bathroom, and a separate Lappish hut stands in the yard. There is no restaurant on site. Meals are self-catered or arranged through the lodge's own itinerary, which can include husky safaris, snowmobile trips and dinners in nearby Levi, 15 minutes away by transfer. A small herd of reindeer visits the yard through winter.
