Turrakom

Turrakom’ (No 1, Ixia Rd, Kommetjie) is a self-catering family home at the water’s edge. Wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach outside your bedroom window; drink sundowners and braai (barbecue) while watching surfers on the famous Kommetjie Long Beach on your doorstep and the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean. You will also see seals frolicking in the waves with the surfers, and cape clawless otters have been known to wander up our garden path from the sea. In season, you may also see the whales.

The house has a large open-plan living-dining room that opens onto the stoep with the best views in Kommetjie (see picture). There is a TV and DVD player, as well as a radio with CD player.
Turrakom is ideal for a large family or two families sharing. There are two double and two twin bedrooms with extra bunk beds in one of the twin bedrooms, as well as 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, etc. and there is a washing machine.
