Reefs surrounding Vamizi host 180 coral species and more than 400 reef fish. Snorkelling and diving depart daily; Neptune's Arm ranks among the noted dive sites. Deep-sea fishing runs offshore. Sunset dhow cruises cross the water at dusk. Castaway picnics are arranged on request, set on the sand. The island is reached by charter flight from Pemba International Airport; the airstrip lies thirty minutes by road from the villas.
