Wray Castle

Wray Castle is a gothic-revival castle set on the shores of Lake Windermere. The area has a long association with Beatrix Potter, and the Castle offers a Peter Rabbit Adventure which is an area perfect for children to play while older children may dress-up or build castles. Visitors may also cycle or walk around the grounds.

There are daily guided tours as well as talks for visitors who wish to know more about the castle. The Kitchen Court Cafe serves ice-cream, cakes, soup, and sandwiches, and there is a children's games, gifts, and souvenirs shop which sells Beatrix Potter toys and books.
