Hostellerie de Levernois

Set within a seven-hectare park bordered by the Bouzaise River, Hostellerie de Levernois occupies an eighteenth-century building five kilometres from the historic centre of Beaune. Old trees shade the grounds, and a footpath scented by aromatic beds and magnolias leads to the Sisley spa. It is a Relais & Châteaux property. Rooms, suites and villas make up the accommodation; the five suites, spread across three separate buildings, run 60 to 65 m² and look onto the village, a courtyard, the spa garden or the park. Seven villas stand raised among the trees, each 125 m² with 35 m² of private terrace, a king bed in the main room, a mezzanine sleeping area, a kitchenette and a shower room with hammam. One villa is accessible to guests with reduced mobility. Two restaurants anchor the food side. Bistrot du Bord de l'Eau serves a simpler, market-driven menu that changes daily, drawing vegetables from the estate's own garden. A 30-metre lap pool, built like a traditional stone wash-house, runs through the park. You can hear the river from parts of the garden.
