Founded in 1926 as Sparta Camp, Londolozi Game Reserve is a family-run safari operation set on a private concession in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park. The reserve now comprises five camps along the Sand River, each with a distinct character. Varty Camp, the original site, holds six suites and ten superior chalets built under ancient riverine trees; the campfire has burned here for nearly a century. Each room includes a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and outdoor dining sala on raised timber decks. Pioneer Camp is the most secluded, with three suites that can be converted into a bush homestead for families of six to twelve. The reserve is known for its leopard sightings and lion dynamics, a result of decades of trust cultivated with the land and animals.

Guided game drives depart twice daily with professional rangers and trackers, many of whom have decades of field experience. Walking safaris track animals on foot through the fifteen-thousand-hectare traversing area. The Healing House at Varty Camp offers bodywork and wellness treatments. Daily yoga classes take place on a deck suspended in a five-hundred-year-old ebony tree. A photographic studio provides equipment rental and Lightroom tuition for editing images between drives. The village walk includes visits to the prototype learning centre, clinic, crèche, and craft centre. Varty Camp houses a guest gym, photographic studio, and boutique. Laundry service and wireless internet are complimentary.
