The Greenhouse stands at the rear of the garden among the oaks, in a 26-metre vintage conservatory of dark green steel, custom built in France by Serres et Ferronneries d'Antan. Tables are brick red and the chairs are green Luxembourg chairs. The menu runs to home-baked cakes, coffee, tea and fresh garden juices, with artisanal breads served alongside handcrafted cheeses, dressed meats, herb oils, chutneys, preserves, relishes and garden salads. Service is picnic style, in wooden crates and weck jars, and bread from the wood-fired oven comes wrapped in Babylonstoren's blue-and-white paper.
