Lakes Edge Holiday Park

Standing on the shore of Lake Tekapo in New Zealand's South Island, Lakes Edge Holiday Park offers motel rooms, ensuite cabins, standard cabins, a backpackers lodge, and powered and unpowered sites. Studio motels face the lake with a queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and Sky TV. One-bedroom motels separate the sleeping area from the kitchen and living space. Two-bedroom motels sleep up to four with a queen in one room and two singles in the other; a five-sleeper variant adds a third single. Ensuite cabins hold a queen bed and a single in the living area, with a separate kitchenette and private bathroom. Standard alpine cabins accommodate four or six with bunk beds and a double, supplied with linen, crockery, and cooking utensils; guests use the communal kitchen, showers, and lounge. Three-bedroom Kiwi Baches serve larger groups.

The Lakes Edge Lodge, a backpackers building facing the lake, sleeps 64 across four- and six-bed dorms, private family rooms, and standalone insulated cabins. Its common room has seating and a smart TV; the shared kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery. Sealed front-row powered sites occupy the lakefront; shingle sites sit further back. Unpowered sites range from small tent plots to larger family pitches, most measuring 8 × 8 metres. Dogs are permitted on designated sites except during the peak summer period. Barbecue areas, laundry, and free Wi-Fi serve all guests. Tekapo village lies one kilometre up the road.
