Fogo Island is a remote, accessible island located off the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland, Canada, just over halfway between the equator and the North Pole. Guest suites embody the spirit of the mysterious and sacred islets, rocks and shoals that lie just north and can be seen from your window. Over the centuries their ancestors gathered along these places to fish and orient themselves through deep waters. Today, the Inn is where guests and locals come to gather all year-round. All of the 29 guests suites are a comforting retreat with unbroken floor-to-ceiling views of the North Atlantic Ocean. This is the only place in the world where you can soak up contemporary outport design, simply by spending time in your own suite. Every textile and piece of furniture is handcrafted from the quilts to the chairs and wallpaper patterns.

The dining room is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and supper. Should guests arrive outside of these meal periods, the chef is certain to find something to satisfy your appetite. The menu is focused on seasonal produce. From a rich bounty of fish and crustaceans to diverse harvests of berries and mushrooms foraged from the bogs. They work with produce found right off the land of their 400 million year old home. The relaxed fine dining experience lets guests taste Fogo Island’s seven seasons through the food. “Finding a new way with old things” is their kitchen motto.
