A Hotel Decosuites

A Hotel Decosuites is a small hotel at the base of the Sierra de Comechingones, in Villa de Merlo, San Luis, with views across the hills to the Conlara Valley. It is a couples-only property: only guests over fifteen are admitted, a policy meant to keep the nine suites quiet. Each of the nine rooms was designed by a different friend of the owners, and none repeats another's style. Suites run from 35 to 45 square metres, each with a king bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and its own uncovered plunge pool. Wifi is included throughout. A garden of native plants links the suites to the hotel restaurant, where an infinity-edge lap pool and sundeck sit among the landscaping. Breakfast is à la carte, with a choice of menus built around fruit, cured ham, farm cheese and home-made preserves. It is a compact stay, built less on scale than on the particularity of each room.
