Built around a running train theme, the A-Train Hotel fills a historic building directly across from Amsterdam Central Station. Corridors and rooms carry small nods to the railway outside the window, though the setting itself does the more obvious work: several rooms look straight onto the station forecourt. The hotel holds 34 rooms across a range of sizes, from compact singles to a two-floor, 56 m² apartment sleeping a family of five.
