Acacia Galapagos Boutique Hotel
Set inside a restored family house in central Puerto Ayora, Acacia Galapagos Boutique Hotel occupies a corner of Santa Cruz Island's main town, within reach of the harbour and its dive and tour operators. The building keeps its domestic scale. It holds just eight rooms across three categories: one suite, three ocean-view rooms and four standard rooms with either a pool or a city view. The suite takes the top spot in the house, with a private balcony over the pool, a king bed and a bathtub. Ocean-view rooms run to 22 square metres and look out toward the bay, with king beds that can convert to twins on request. Downstairs, a courtyard holds a small pool and jacuzzi, and breakfast is served on the ground floor each morning. A reading lounge and rooftop terrace sit upstairs, giving guests a place to look over the tin roofs of Puerto Ayora toward the water. Rooms are fitted with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe and a mini fridge, and most open onto a private terrace or balcony; one room is handicap-accessible. The front desk arranges tours across the archipelago, from island-hopping itineraries to diving trips. It is a compact stay, built around a walkable, working port town rather than a resort compound. Check-out is by 10am, check-in from 1pm.
