Facing the Athabasca River in Jasper National Park, Alpine Village spreads its cabins across eleven acres of forest and pathway. The setting is quiet by design: no through traffic, just spaced-out log buildings under tree cover and mountain views from most decks. Wildlife turns up often enough that sightings barely warrant comment among returning guests.
Cabins range from compact heritage rooms with a queen bed and wood-burning fireplace to duplex suites and full family cabins with lofts, dishwashers, and private barbecues. Each has a wood-burning or gas fireplace, log-beam construction, and a small kitchen or kitchenette; the newer Executive One Bedroom Cabin, arriving in July 2026, adds a two-sided gas fireplace and quartz counters. Bathrooms in select cabins run to heated tile floors and dual-head showers. There is no air conditioning; forest breezes and portable fans handle warm afternoons instead.
Outside, Adirondack chairs line the riverbank and an outdoor hot pool sits ringed by peaks. Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, serviceable for email but not for streaming. Parking is free, one stall per cabin, with a second usually available on request. The resort operates seasonally, from May through mid-October, and downtown Jasper's restaurants and galleries sit a short drive away.
