Altira Macau
Set on Taipa, a tower of suites above the Macau skyline
Skip to product information
Rising above Taipa island at the junction of Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen and Avenida de Kwong Tung, Altira Macau puts every guest room to work on the view. The hotel sits under ten minutes from the ferry terminal, airport and Lotus Bridge border, close enough to treat the whole peninsula as a day trip. Waterfront View Rooms run to 54 square metres, each looking out over the Macau skyline. Corner Suites expand past 88 square metres, with a lounge, dining table and a bathroom built around a circular stone tub. Premier Suites go further still: eight of them, each 128 square metres, with 180-degree views, a separate study and its own dining area. At the top sit four Villas of 256 square metres, set apart from the rest of the hotel with a private bedroom wing, kitchenette, steam room and sound system built in. Dining runs from Ying, a Michelin-starred Cantonese room on Level 11 with private and semi-private spaces for smaller parties, to Monsoon's round-the-clock hot pot on Level 3. Upstairs, Altira Spa keeps an infinity pool, steam rooms and saunas going behind a bamboo courtyard. Parking is free for the first hour and unlimited for hotel guests during their stay.
