Aman Rosa Alpina

San Cassiano wraps around the hotel in stone and timber, the village sitting beneath the peaks of Lavarella and Conturines. Aman Rosa Alpina occupies a building restored rather than built from scratch, and the effect is of a place already lived in: floor-to-ceiling windows frame the rock faces outside, fireplaces sit opposite king beds, and balconies open straight onto mountain air. Bathrooms carry soaking tubs finished in the same spa-quiet register as the rest of the house. Snow settles thick through winter. The resort connects by shuttle to the Piz Sorega cable car, putting Dolomiti Superski's runs within easy reach, and a ski lounge with its own butler service handles boots, boards and the walk back in from the cold. In warmer months the same terrain turns to walking country, with trails threading through Alta Badia and the Puez-Odle nature park close by. Indoors, the Aman Spa runs to hydrotherapy pools, a sauna, steam room and a fitness centre, plus pools split for adults and for families. Three private cinemas and a games room fill the quieter hours. Dining spreads across several rooms, including The Grill and Il Salotto, each built around Italian ingredients and unhurried service. You can watch the light move across the rock faces from the terrace as the afternoon turns. Opened in 2020, it is Aman's only mountain address in Italy.
