The restaurant sits open to the air, its tables looking past the swimming pool towards the Ayung Valley below. Ingredients come largely from local organic farms, including free-range poultry and pigs left to forage, giving the Indonesian-inflected menu a distinct farm-to-table character. Each evening, gamelan musicians play, their music mixing with birdsong as dusk settles over the valley. Guests can also arrange a packed hamper for day excursions, or ask the kitchen to lay out a meal at a chosen spot on the grounds. The deck remains the main draw after dark.
