Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol
Beachfront hotel in Limassol, ten minutes from town, since 1973
Set along two stretches of private beach in Agios Tychon, east of Limassol, the Amathus Beach Hotel has occupied this stretch of coast since 1973. Lawn gardens run between the buildings and the shore, and the sea is visible from most upper-floor balconies. Rooms range from 26 m² superior rooms to 78 m² suites with three verandas; the newest Junior Suites, on the ground and first floors of the Residence building, come with their own pool heated to 26°C. Family Room Plus configurations link two superior rooms by a private connecting door, useful for groups travelling with children. The One Bedroom Grand Suite, on the third floor, adds a jacuzzi bath, a small bar, and a walk-in wardrobe. It is a five-minute walk to the water from most rooms. Dining runs from the open-air Limanaki restaurant, rebuilt in 2024, to the Grill Room's prime cuts. Two tombs from the ancient Amathus necropolis, dated to between 750 and 475 BCE, sit within the grounds and remain open to guests, a quiet link to the site's older history. The hotel has been under the same architectural design since the early 1970s, and some staff have worked here since it opened.
